During the Week
JBA
Boys in grades 3-6 meet at the church on the first and third Wednesday evenings during the school year. They participate in a variety of activities including Bible study, games, crafts, a Pinewood derby, rec night and a mountain weekend, etc.
JGA
Girls in grades 3-6 meet at the church on the first and third Wednesday evenings during the school year for devotions, speakers, crafts, games or giving projects like school kits, health kits or gifts for church members. Special activities include a retreat, campout, swimming party, ice skating and a Christmas party, etc.
Junior Youth
Activities for the junior youth (grades 7-8) include a Bible study on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings, monthly social activities and a winter retreat.
Youth
This active group of students in grades 9-12 meets at Overly’s Grove on the first and third Wednesdays of the month for worship and Bible study. Officers elected by the youth plan additional activities for the group. The summer service project, weekend retreats and a 30-hour famine are annual highlights.
SafeHouse & SEVEN
SafeHouse and SEVEN include young adults who gather weekly for worship and Bible study. They also plan times of ministry and recreation.
Friendship Circle
Friendship Circle is a ministry for ladies that meets on the first and third Tuesday mornings from October thru April for light refreshments, Bible study, prayer, and input from resource persons on topics relevant to women. Nursery care and preschool classes are available.
Ladies Bible Study
Designed for women of all ages, this group meets at the church on the second and fourth Tuesday mornings of every month and the first and third Wednesday evenings of every month for a time of Bible study and spiritual renewal.
Overcomers
Overcomers is a women’s prayer group that meets at the church every Wednesday morning for intercessory prayer.
Sewing Circle
The goal of sewing circle is to show God’s love through relief ministry, both locally and abroad, by making kits for Mennonite Central Committee, Christmas bundles, clothing, quilts and comforters. They meet in the morning and evening of the second Wednesday of each month.
Tuesday Morning Prayer
A group of men meet at 5:00 a.m. each Tuesday morning for a time of mutual encouragement, prayer and a cup of coffee.
