Jump Start

Who is this for? Anyone new to Weaverland…we offer you a jump start in discovering our faith community.

When? The 4th Sunday of each month, from 9:30-10:15 am.

Where? In the Conference Room (Room 349), located between the main lobby area and the sanctuary.

What will we do?  One or two of the pastors will meet with you, introduce you to Weaverland’s mission and core values, ministries, and volunteer and service opportunities. We’ll try to answer your questions. We’ll also want to get to know YOU better, and enjoy coffee and snacks together. We’ll give you a quick tour of the place, too!

Class Offered –“Human Suffering & God’s Sovereignty”

gsvclass1 We live in a world filled with evil, violence, and human suffering which raises hard questions of a loving God.  Even in the time of Christ, many desperate needs remained unmet as Jesus continued on to the next village.

Where was God then, where is God now?

Faith in a loving God collides with life’s most difficult and painfilled questions. This class will focus on growing a Christcentered perspective in the midst of such questions and consider how one best engages a suffering and traumatized world.
